لدى نور مشكلة وهي أنه ينسى الأعداد كثيرًا. أفراد أسرته يعرفون مشكلته ووجدوا طريقة للتعامل معها. فكانوا كلما أراد أحدهم أن يطلب من نور إحضار عدد معين من شيء ما، يربطه بشيء مألوف لديه ليذكره بالعدد. ذات يوم أخبرته والدته أن حبها له يساوي عدد نجوم السماء، فما كان من نور إلا أنه بدأ يعد النجوم ليكتشف لاحقًا أن النجوم لامتناهيه مثل حب والدته له. القصة طريفة وتعلم ربط الأعداد بالصور المرئية كوسيلة لتذكر الأعداد.

Noor has a problem remembering numbers. Whenever family members want Noor to get a specific number of a certain object, they link it to another object that reminds him of that number. When his mother tells him that her love for him is equal to the number of stars in the sky, he starts counting them only to discover that the stars are infinite! This is an amusing story which introduces a technique that enhances children’s memory by linking visual images with concepts such as numbers, and ending with a sweet message about motherly love.
