Bashayer Arif is an Emirati author and her debut novel is The Secret Life of Dubai's Street Cats. She has a degree in English Literature and believes in the profound power of storytelling. Her other interests include anthropology, psychology, and poetry. Bashayer is currently working on her next project. When she's not writing, she can be found running after her little daughter and navigating her role as a mother.
