Kathy Urban
Kathy Urban is a multilingual journalist and the author of ‘Hop Lola Hop’, a series of children’s books about a wandering toy called Lola. Kathy was inspired by her own experiences as a mother to create adventures for missing toys to help children cope with the absence of their stray teddies.
An avid reader, Kathy grew up admiring the works of great storytellers and the imaginary worlds they created. But listening to the tales her dad invented was what prompted Kathy to create stories for her own family.
As well as the UK, Kathy has lived in the US, Denmark and Germany, and now calls Dubai her home.
