Toyin Akanni

Toyin Akanni is a British-Nigerian author and an English teacher here in UAE. She moved from the UK to Ras al Khaimah five years ago. She holds a Master’s degree in environmental science and a creative writing diploma from the University of Cambridge. When she isn’t in the classroom, she enjoys baking with her three children and sharing various shades of her culture through her writing.
